![]() TL DR: I really recommend the Division books. Some of those are quite cool though, and can be used for a Starfleet crew as well. I think the Klingon book does well to clarify some muddy points in the original core book, but mostly it offers a way to ammend the game to suit a Klingon campaign. The Klingon Core Book might be overstating the case when it talks about revamping the 2d20 system. ![]() Engineering and Sciences offer some interesting ideas if you want to run a campaign more tightly focused on PCs away from the bridge. Particularly, the command division offers some new mechanics for giving out commendations to PCs. I found the division books to pretty helpful. There are some plot hooks offered, but nothing particularly revolutionary. I would say the quadrant books are fun, but they don't offer much more than some pregen NPCs from the series, and stat blocks for some different ship classes.
